Good call, National Weather Service, on issuing that Wind Advisory for our area today. We were enjoying the last minute of the Colts game when we heard a CRASH! BOOM! THUD! out in the yard. Lo and behold, a huge limb had blown down. Good thing we bought that chainsaw two weeks ago.
Andy’s parents arrived yesterday, on their way home from Michigan. Considering that I was napping when they arrived and sleeping when they left this morning (what can I say, I’m a great hostess), I don’t have much to report from their visit—they treated us to yummy Chinese food last night, and Henry and Eleanor had fun spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.
Other than tree-monitoring, we’ve just been lounging and playing all afternoon. I got out the play sushi set, and Henry and Eleanor entertained themselves for a long time.
