So today’s the first day of National Blog Posting Month, and I had planned on starting off with a bang. I’m behind on blogging, so there’s lots to tell you about, like visits with my sister or the three days we spent celebrating Halloween.
But then Henry and Eleanor woke up with a Halloween hangover and stayed grouchy all day.
And then I spent my day trying to finish up a preschool newsletter and clean my house and getting interrupted every two seconds by children needing MORE MILK, MOM or OPEN MY CANDY, MOM or I’M GOING TO RANDOMLY FREAK OUT BECAUSE I WANTED THE CAT INSIDE NOT OUTSIDE.
And then I had a preschool board meeting that lasted until 9:00. And then I came home and ate supper at 9:30 because that’s when my chili was done cooking because when I put it in the crockpot this afternoon I turned on the crockpot but didn’t actually plug in the crockpot and didn’t notice until late this afternoon.
And it’s now 11:06 and I still need to start making lunches for preschool tomorrow and I really just want to go play some Angry Birds and then go to sleep. So instead of a thoughtful, well-written post, here’s a picture of my sister flashing a rabbit.
(Note to children’s museums: if you get a pet rabbit and name it Flash, please research proper comma usage before labeling its cage.)
(Note to Internet: I bet you’re totally excited for 29 more days of this, aren’t you?)
